FOIL or Multiplying Two Binomials
When you have to multiply two binomials, one of the easiest ways to do it is by using the FOIL method. FOIL stands for First Outer Inner Last. It is the order in which we multiply the terms of the two binomials. For this example we would have:

There are also some special cases of multiplying binomials, such as when you square a binomial. This tutorial will walk you through some examples, as well as explain how to multiply a binomial and a trinomial.
